Vegan Belgian Waffles

Preparation

1. Prepare the batter:
Preheat the waffle iron. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Add the plant-based milk and oil and stir everything together to form a smooth batter. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.

2. Refine the batter and bake:
Lightly grease the waffle iron. Add the mineral water to the batter and stir in carefully. Pour a ladleful of batter into the hot waffle iron and bake the waffles for about 5 minutes until golden brown.

3. Serve:
Carefully remove the finished waffles from the iron and dust with powdered sugar. Serve immediately.

•    400 g flour
•    80 g sugar
•    1 packet baking powder
•    1 tsp salt
•    300 ml plant-based milk
•    100 ml neutral oil
•    50 ml mineral water
•    Powdered sugar for dusting
